Personal Description
Bethany Carter Howlett is the daughter of two time professional athlete David Andrew Howlett who played both professional football and professional baseball, and former runway model Marcia Ann Stockett Howlett.
She was an elite level gymnast, all-American and collegiate level cheerleader, all-star softball player, and an advanced dancer.
Following her gymnastics career Bethany entered the world of power lifting and bodybuilding where she became a national level athlete in both fields. She then earned her professional card via the field of fitness with the International Federation of Bodybuilding. She is a former owner of four fitness facilities as well as a very successful personal training company that has been published in the Washingtonian and The Washington Post titled Better Bodies By Bethany, Inc. She competes today as a professional fitness athlete, judges amateur shows, and promotes her own show held each year titled The Bethany Howlett Fitness and Figure Classic.
Her academics paralleled her athletic and fine arts excellence and holds an MS and a BS in molecular biology, a BA in music, and a minor in Spanish, and is currently earning her executive MBA in the Washington, D.C. area. Bethany Carter Howlett is a freelance writer via the topics of health and fitness for eight publications on the public market today. Her current academic project is a book due in the winter that offers diet, supplementation, training advice, and complete health regimens for the corporate traveler. Her future academic project, which will be completed in Spring 2005, is a multiple publication of eBooks including such literature pieces as complete health regimens for women, proper health regimens for overweight children, and health regimens for the broke college student.
Bethany Carter Howlett resides in McLean, Virginia where she is the Vertical Marketing Manager for a top Inc. 500 company. She enjoys partaking in real estate transactions, motivational speaking for young entrepreneurs, charity work, professional fitness events, triathlons, decathlons, golf, international travel, and time with friends.
